We could have launched enough. on the strength of the science alone. The research behind hydrolysed collagen, Vitamin C, and Vitamin D is genuinely strong, and we could have written a compelling post entirely from peer-reviewed studies.
But we wanted more than that. We wanted proof that it actually worked for real women, in real life, not in a laboratory.
So before enough. ever went on sale, we ran our own trial. Fifty women. Thirty days. Our Swiss Bovine Collagen Peptides, taken daily, exactly as intended.
Here's what we found.
The trial, in brief
Fifty women, ranging in age from their early thirties to mid-seventies, took enough. Collagen Peptides daily for 30 days. Participants tracked changes across skin, hair, nails, joints and general wellbeing, both through self-reported questionnaires and before-and-after observations.
We didn't ask leading questions. We asked open, honest ones: How does your skin feel? Have you noticed any change in your hair or nails? How would you describe your energy and wellbeing over the past month? The answers were collected and reported exactly as given.

What the numbers showed

Skin: visibly more radiant
78% of participants reported visibly more radiant, hydrated-looking skin by the end of the 30 days. This aligns closely with what the research on hydrolysed collagen and Vitamin C would predict. Collagen provides the structural protein, Vitamin C supports the body's own collagen synthesis, and together they work on skin hydration and elasticity from the inside.
Several women specifically mentioned a reduction in the appearance of fine lines and an improvement in skin texture. Again, these are changes that are consistent with published research on collagen peptide supplementation over similar timeframes.
Hair: noticeably less breakage
73% of participants reported less hair breakage during the trial period. This was one of the results that genuinely surprised even us. We expected skin improvements to lead, but the hair feedback was just as strong, and came up unprompted in a huge number of responses.
Collagen is a structural protein found in hair follicles, and adequate collagen and Vitamin C levels support the hair's natural strength and growth cycle. For many women in perimenopause and beyond, hair thinning and increased shedding are genuinely distressing changes, so this result mattered to us as much as the skin findings. Our hair is our crowning glory after all.

Wellbeing: a result we're immensely proud of
82% of participants reported an overall improvement in wellbeing over the 30 days. This is a broader, more holistic measure than skin or hair alone and it captures energy, mood, and the simple sense of feeling good in your own body. It genuinely is looking after your wellness from within.
We think this number matters because it speaks to something beyond any single ingredient claim. Taking a few minutes each morning to do something genuinely good for yourself, consistently, for 30 days, has a value that's hard to fully separate from the formula itself. Both things are true: the collagen is working, and so is the ritual of caring for yourself daily.
"82% of our trial women reported improved overall wellbeing. That's not just a supplement working. That's what happens when you show up for yourself every day."
In their own words
Numbers tell part of the story. These are the words of three women who took part.
|
"I'd tried collagen before and honestly never noticed much. Within three weeks of starting enough., my skin felt different - more plump, somehow. My husband even commented on it before I said anything." — Caroline, 60 |
|
"My nails have split and flaked for years - I genuinely thought that was just how they were going to be at my age. They stopped splitting about three weeks in. I wasn't expecting that at all." — Pat, 74 |
|
"It's become part of my morning without me even thinking about it now. The change wasn't dramatic and overnight, it was gradual, and then one day I realised I felt genuinely better than I had in a long time." — Sarah, 47 |
Why we ran the trial before launching, not after
This mattered to us for a simple reason: we'd spent years collectively trying products that promised the world on the strength of marketing alone. We didn't want to do that to anyone else.
Running the trial before launch meant we had a choice to make if the results had been disappointing. They weren't. But we want to be honest that we went in willing to hear that, and willing to go back to the formula if the feedback didn't support it.
It also meant that everything we say about enough. Collagen, in our marketing, on our packaging, in this very post and when we present the product on TV shopping channels, is grounded in actual evidence from actual women, not just the underlying research literature. Both matter. We wanted both.

Building on this: what's next
We've continued to gather feedback since launch, and the pattern from our original trial has held. Women report similar things, in similar proportions, across a much larger and ongoing sample of real customers.
In 2025 and again in 2026 enough. Collagen Peptides was awarded a Beauty Supplement Award, a recognition we're proud of, but that ultimately matters less to us than the messages we still get every week from women telling us their nails have stopped splitting, or their skin feels different, or they simply feel better.
That's the whole reason enough. exists. Because we want you to know and feel that you are enough.

Frequently asked questions
How was the 50-woman trial conducted?
Fifty women took enough. Collagen Peptides daily for 30 days and reported on changes to their skin, hair, nails, joints and overall wellbeing through self-reported questionnaires, without leading questions or prompts.
What were the main results of the trial?
78% of participants reported visibly more radiant skin, 73% reported less hair breakage, and 82% reported an overall improvement in wellbeing over the 30-day period.
Is 30 days long enough to see results from collagen?
For many women, early changes in skin hydration and texture become noticeable within three to four weeks, which is consistent with our trial timeframe. The fuller benefits, particularly to joints, hair and bone-supporting structures, continue to build with consistent use over several months.
Were the trial participants paid or given free product only?
Participants received product to use during the trial. We can confirm the feedback collected and reported reflects their genuine, unprompted experience.
Has enough. Collagen won any awards?
Yes, enough. Collagen Peptides won a Beauty Supplement Award in 2025 and again in 2026.
